Artificial intelligence-labeled insurtech companies accounted for 95.2% of global insurtech funding in the first quarter of 2026, according to Gallagher Re. These companies raised $1.55 billion through 68 deals during this period. The total insurtech funding for the quarter stood at $1.63 billion, experiencing a slight decrease from $1.67 billion observed in the fourth quarter of 2025.
