Sixfold Launches AI Capability for Life and Health Underwriting
AI InsurTech firm Sixfold has introduced a new capability, named Narrative, aimed at enhancing the process of underwriting in the life and health insurance sectors. The feature is designed to reduce the time spent on reviewing complex medical and case documentation, addressing a principal bottleneck in underwriting workflows. According to Sixfold, despite advancements in automation technology, up to 88% of life and health insurance cases still necessitate human review.
