👉 Knowing where your money is going will help guide you towards any changes that can be made.

👉 Be judgement free on your cash flow. It’s okay if you’ve made spending choices that need to adjusted. What’s important is what you do going forward.

👉 And, if you want to spend money on getting coffee out every day, that’s okay, as long as you make other adjustments

👉 Budgets are a subject of much debate as to whether they are truly important to a sound financial plan. There are many websites and books that are dedicated strictly to budgeting, and budgeting is even part of most financial planning software. Ultimately, using (and sticking to) a budget is up to you. Whether or not you choose to use a budget, it’s important to review your cash flow at least once a year.
